7 critical Marketing metrics that save you time and money
You don't have enough time in your week to track 1,000s of KPIs.
7 critical Marketing metrics that save you time and money:
1. Bounce Rate
This is the percentage of visitors that leave your website after visiting only one page.
A high bounce rate indicates your website or copy sucks. People are not finding what they're looking for.
Remember - you're clickbaiting if you don't deliver on the promise.
2. Qualified Leads
This is how many leads you get that meet your buyer persona.
Unqualified leads don't put cash in the bank.
This metric helps you understand how effective your lead generation efforts are. Qualified leads are most likely to convert to customers.
3. Conversion Rate (CR)
This is the percentage of people that successfully complete a desired action after called to do so.
With a high conversion rate, you're more effective at converting visitors into leads and leads into customers.
When it's low, your copy needs work.
4. Click Through Rate (CTR)
This is the percentage of people who click on a link or call-to-action.
This metric helps you understand how effective your ad campaigns or email marketing efforts are.
A better CTR is the result of improving your headlines, copy, and CTAs.
5. Customer Lifetime Value (CLV)
This is the total revenue a customer generates for your business as long as they're your customer.
Knowing how valuable each customer is will guide your customer acquisition efforts and your Customer Success.
Prioritize high CLV customers.
6. Number of Trial Signups
This is how many people sign up for a free trial of your product or service.
With this measure, you'll know how effective your marketing funnel is.
If it's ineffective, you need to fill the top of the funnel more to trickle more at the bottom.
7. Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
This is the cost of acquiring a new customer.
This metric shows how much you're spending to acquire new business.
It can also help determine if your marketing efforts are cost-effective. Keep your CAC lower than your CLV.
